We spent a great Thanksgiving down in the desert. Sean is now officially walking. And he likes Turkey! Above he's checking out the golf course with grandpa. Bellow he's doing some drawing with mom:

We raised a glass with our friend the jet-setting rock guitarist and all around good guy Mike Randle at the Red Lion tonight in celebration of his birthday. He was fresh off the plane from Heathrow, but still managed to regale us all with his stories and insights. Cheers to Mike!!

Of course ninja training begins at birth, but today Sean started with the nunchakus:
RIP Don Gibson - A great song writer and fine recording artist as well. I have his "Give Myself a Party" and "Sea of Heartbreak" in my repetoire.

On the way home from Mammoth yesterday I made the boys stop at the site of the Manzanar War Relocation Center, now a National Park Historic Site, on the 395 just south of Independence, CA in the Owens Valley. There is not much to see but it's interesting to be there and think about what happened.
